I've never been a saver, and for a long time I thought that made me reckless. An afternoon with my grandmother taught me otherwise, and it's shaped how I think about money, freedom, and why tracking matters more than restriction.
There were months where I just didn't open my budget. Not because I forgot. I avoided it on purpose. And what I eventually figured out is that tracking and budgeting aren't the same thing, and only one of them ever actually kept me grounded.
